battery light flashing

Old thread but I had the same issue on my 2011 GL 550, turns out water was leaking from the plastic clip that the tail light slides into on the quarter panel. Had the wife spray water over the light and saw it coming through the plastic body clip. Water was leaking into my rear SAM. I tore it apart and stuck it in rice for 24 hours and put it back together, everything has been good so far. Will set aside some money if the rear sam ever does decide to die on me in the future.

G'day a2j.....I can't find in the thread what module(s) that fixed the problem. Old thread I know- I just trying to fix a mates ML350 Petrol 4matic, 2007. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Ben

different issue.
give couple bangs to each sensor with bottom of fist. gently. dont worry. "bumper" is your clue here
if that doesnt fix it - clean them carefully (from outside) with soap and water.
if that doesnt fix it- you need to replace your sensor harness. fairly easy.
