Outside right side view mirror lamp error
1. Outside temperature has fallen to the 40's.
2. Car in garage starts with no error on mirror.
3. After turning off engine and parking outside, on restart the error warning comes on.
4. So it seems to be intermittent.
5. Not sure that I can relate it to the temperature.
Any guidance or assistance would be appreciated. The LED light strip is about $50 at the dealer. Does anybody know the part number and have step by step details on how to replace it? I believe that the mirror is attached with clips. Really cautious about doing this because the mirror is about $800 and don't want to break anything. Thanks

Car was just at the MB dealer for 1 week for a service B and a "Check Engine" light (car ran fine).
After throwing parts at it and different techs looking at it the CPU was replaced. Check engine light is out but now this mirror light warning message.
Back to the dealer twice in 2 days and they want $900 to replace the whole mirror.
I said BS, was charged $80 and still have the "fast" blinking etc.
Did the CPU replacement fry or cause this new problem.
btw, not cold here in Scottsdale AZ.
