2012 GL 450
MBrace Squealing
Just bought a CPO 2012 GL 450. Whenever you press i button to connect the Mbrace system, you hear what sounds like a loud fax machine squealing. That is annoying. But, when it disconnects, there is an ear piercing squealing. The dealership is trying to say that it is because it is an "analogue" system. I can't believe this is normal function. Anyone else have this experience?

they all do it.

and yes- the sound is most annoying ear-piercing shriek.

Yes it is normal. The same thing happens on my 2011 GL450. My opinion: Mbrace is not worth the money. The only thing I ever used was the iPhone app to input addresses into the navigation.
