2012 GL450

2012 GL450 iPhone 5 / iPhone 6

What are you guys doing with regard to the iPhone cable which is in the glovebox which isn't the Apple lightning cable? (it is designed for the older iPhone cable)

Is there a conversion cable which gives full function?

Ideally I want a lightning cable and/or USB cable in the center console which lets me stream Pandora through the Mercedes audio system. Is there a modification which would let me do that?

Better yet, can I stream Pandora through bluetooth?

Weird. Did you buy the adapter from Apple store? eBay adapters are hit and miss. Mine is a 2008 GL320 and adapter works perfectly.

So I just picked up a 2009 C63 AMG and replicated the same setup as i did for the 2008 GL320 CDI with the iPod/iPhone adaptor. Everything worked fine except for my phone won't charge either. So looks like they changed something on the '09 models that disabled the charging. Very annoying.
