Side View Mirror Replacement
Wife backed of garage and broke the passenger side mirror housing.
Mirror still folds in/out but glass popped out of clips.
I cannot figure out how to get glass back in or else, I would make her live with it.
Are there any isntructions on mirror glass install?
OR
Anyone recommend how to buy mirror assembly?

i will have to do some homework finding but there are instructions, simple to replace, the glass does pop in but very fragile and certain way, can type in.. mercedes gl mirror ..on ebay and should be a few, will get bk with info tomorrow

k, found it, i found this on u-tube, it is for a ml500(w164), worked perfect for our 08 450(x164). i did not install new mirrors just removed mirror and reinstalled to figure out why our mirror pops 3 times after folding. if you want to watch go to u-tube and type this in search window...


Change Right Door Mirror Cover with Light Indicator for W164 Mercedes


after your done watching it should be a breeze...hope this helps

On a related note, has anyone updated the mirrors to new style that came on 2010+ models? The mirrors on my truck are my biggest gripe. They are small and ugly. Would love to upgrade to newer style.
