does anyone have experience with using a dash cam that has gps? my concern is the infrared "filter" on the windshield that only has 3 openings for fastpass etc. don't know if the filter prohibits reception of the gps signal if I were to mount the dash cam behind the rear view mirror.

GPS signals are usually fine.


Test with a phone with a GPS app.
