im located in ny since it started getting cold i notice whenever i leave the car parked for a little the back automatically lowers itself and when i started it up i have to wait a few mins for it to rise back up anybody knows what can be the cause of this and also today i started it and the malfuction light came on while i started to drive need help asap thanks in advance!

stop driving the car and order the air bag for the side is dropping from unless you want to also replace the compressor

Since the malfunction light came on the compressor may already be toast! I just replaced the rear air bag that the dealer told me was leaking when I had the car in for other work. It lowered every night when off but I never did get a malfunction light. Everything normal now.
