Side view mirror extenders

Side view mirror extenders
Is there an option for mirror extenders for a 2011 GL that I can use to safely pull a double-wide trailer (103")? I tried the Reese extended "strap-on" mirrors from Princess Auto and they did not allow me to see out sufficiently enough to get a view behind the trailer.
What solution have you guys here used or am I euchered?

I haven't tried these yet, but since there are really no other feasible options, I will try them in the spring when its time to move by boat around!
They look reasonable anyway, better then the 'strap on', so to speak!!
Have fun,
Aiden

14.5" sounds more promising than the one I tried... pic of the Reese below:
Any other options or options from MB?

If there are no options from MB any idea which of these other choices would give me the widest view?

Or are the ones suggested above it?

Hi Speed,
Yes I use them on my GL.
My airstream is eight and one half feet wide, by 28 feet long...
What I like about the mirrors is that they are large and very solid - they don't vibrate at all at speed...
I learned about them on the Airstream forum - they seem to be the most popular model of extension mirrors for that community. The reviews on Amazon were pretty good too...

Mine is as wide as yours but only 14' long. You vote of confidence on these mirrors
I contacted customer support at the site that Aiden recommended and they recommended this mirror for my application:
http://www.rvpartshop.ca/Universal_T.../nt23-0351.htm
They said that the http://www.rvpartshop.ca/SearchResul...-n-see&Submit= mirror will flap too much in the wind.
But they do also carry the JR 2912 that you recommended. I will ask them about that one in comparison to their original recommendation of the **** 11960.
They also have another JR model... http://www.rvpartshop.ca/AERO2_TOWIN..._p/cd31999.htm

There are quite a few of us that lurk around this forum that use the GL to tow big toys- Airstreams, boats, cars, etc. It's a great tow vehicle, we all just wish that it has been designed for about another 500 pounds of hitch weight to better match the 7500 pound towing capacity.
My airstream weighs about 5,500 pounds unloaded.
As far as the mirrors go - you are talking about a $100 purchase for a $75,000 vehicle. Why not buy them both them both? They also look to be cheaper on Amazon...
