im looking for a little help here regarding Bluetooth and the hole thing about being able to pair my phone to my car. When I hit the phone button ,no phone displayed. So am I to assume no Bluetooth? If so what can I do. I want to be able to run my phone thru the car as handsfree.

If you look in the center console there should be a cradle and an adapter there if there is no adapter then you need to buy one. I had the same issue. If you need one I have one. I bought one then the guy who I bought the car from found the adapter.

I would hate to bother you with sending me the adapter but would much appreciate!! What does the adapter look like. Do they call it a dongle??

Here you go! That is the one that I have installed, I also have the other model which is a little smaller and newer.

Is the unit in the photo physically attached to the car, clips or wires?? It looks like when I open my armrest there is no way to attach this type of unit??? If not why can't this thing sit in the ashtray slide out.

There is a dock it slides into, there is probably a cap that is hiding it. can you post a picture of your center console? And the other unit I have is OEM MB

Hmm, interesting - it does not look like your armrest is that deep, the weird thing is the darker spot on the carpet is about the size of the connector but here is none. Does the console open up another way?

No just the bottom half deeper section.

Hi Clerch: I have the same Bluetooth connector in my 2007 GL 450 and the previous owner was connecting his samsung phone to it. I am an Iphone users and have not been able to connect any of them to the bluetooth (6, 6s and 7plus). Any advice?
