Diff Oil change

Everyone always mentions the transmission service being extremely important but what about the diff? Anyone ever change it or know the intervals to change?

Search the forum for differential and you can see several threads on this topic. I think the consensus is to change out diff fluid every 50k miles. Particularly if you are hard on your truck or tow...

Just change it at the same interval as your transmission. It shouldn't cost very much, so it's cheap insurance.

Probably because a transmission repair is $$$$ and differential failure is rare. But it's cheap insurance and easy, so no reason not to do it.
