ipod classic 5g connected to music system

I recently connecter an Ipod Classic 5G to my 2007 GL 320 CDI HK music system via ipod cable. It works fine, but I have the some questions:

Right now, I see the track info on the dashboard display, but can I see it on the radio display too?

I don't understand how the music is arranged. I can only shuffle the songs. How can I arrange or search music by artist or genre?

Best regards.

The infotainment in these trucks is awful at best. The only way is to buy a bluetooth adapter called VISEEO. Although not the best, it's the only way to get the music into the comand head without pulling your hair out.

Its ugly, but I use a Lightning-to-30Pin adapter to connect my ipod. But I have a 2010 GL.

I use the Apple OEM 30 pin to lightning connector. The knock off cords don't work at all.
