A/C Compressor Short Circuit

A/C Compressor Short Circuit
My X164 (2009 GL 450 Gasoline US) A/C is not blowing cold air--problem started intermittently and is now permanent. All other functions, such as heating, interior fans, damper/flappers, exterior electronic fan all seem normal.
I purchased a code reader and am getting thee faults:
9006: A9 A/C Compressor Short Circuit
9208: B31 Smog Sensor sensor cable short circuit open to ground
9208: B32 Smog sensor sensor cable open circuit
Looking for anyone's experience with these and what is involved in repair, hoping of course this does NOT require compressor replacement!
Not really sure where to start in terms of wires to check, or other diagnostic. Thanks in advance for your help!

Any luck on your issue ? I have the same issue - Intermittent cooling - have replaced 5 compressors so far, each one lasted a few weeks before dying out completely
