Changed Intake pipe to turbo

Changed Intake pipe to turbo
Had traces oil droplets.
Tracked to a leaky (seal) at the air intake to turbo.
Mechanic said the new pipe has better seal then current (old) one.
Seems the old design not as good and others had the same issue.
No choice but to change.
All good now. But it is expensive for a part which could look simpler.

That's what I thought.
Only saw the part after it was ordered.
Prior was told it needed to get a "new" seal and it came attached to the intake pipe.
I am no mechanic (bad one if I was one),
Too trusting of the workshop, but that was the closest and most convenient.
Now need to think of alternatives.
