Im watching with interest on this install, hopefully it isnt a lot of work and lets others that have no idea like me start looking at options for the GL 164

well.... those brake are for 360 mm discs... our discs is 375-380 mm... the adapter need a little part...

will be easy.....

I didn't know 4 matics could do this 8piston upgrade

What did you do to get them to clear the 4 matic stuff near the hubs?

How big are those bracket spacers?

now do the rears

Please see the pictures
Move the adapter with inox iron back 4 mm and inwards 3 mm
You need bigger bolts to the adapter. It is easy to find
I use the oem hoses . No problem
With oem rotors
I use our brake pad sensor
I bought brembo brake pads for these calipers... easy to find

And read all the post....
I will work in the rear brakes

so you didn't use the Drilled/slotted Rotors that came with your AMG Brake Package?

With gl 420 cdi oem rotors, in the future ... I will change it for bigger ones and better. 390 mm.
The brembo pads are not good... I need to look for better ones too

To take out all of air inside the brake hoses... you will need a machine... by hand is so difficult .

I would love to do this but Im not capable enough and indy techs here in the UK wouldnt do this kind of thing

i put new brake pads , brembo....
front P50062 and rear P50061

but i do not like it...... wich ones better????
