Air Compressor Fuse
Hi,
My front passenger side is very low, practically resting on the wheel. The other three sides are ok staying at a good level.
It used to leak out air but then when the car started it was pumped back up again. Now, I have the malfunction warning and that side does not go back up anymore.
I realize that driving in this state can overwork the compressor and cause more damage. However, I do need to drive the car for another week.
What about pulling out the fuse for the compressor? Then, it will not work and cannot overwork.
What are your thoughts on that?

I had the same problem a month ago. You may have burned out the air compressor by now. Buy the parts directly from Arnott, and I recommend the entire strut and air spring assembly. They are $405 each...do both sides.

If you were driving it with a leak, asking the compressor to run all the time and compensate, you burned up the compressor. Removing a fuse won't fix the leak or the compressor. Do those things first.

Your compressor pump would have lasted longer if leak was fixed right after it was detected.
