New member needs help
Hi everyone I own 3 M/B,S my 2011 GL 450 needed a tow hitch I got one from a salvage yard and was installing it last night. It bolts up fine but the energy absorbing bumper will not work with it. Is there a different bumper that fits with the hitch?

Welcome please post picture of your ride I have no idea but someone in forum should know. I usually call the dealer and ask if the car can use a trailer hitch and if so what type. You could try that

Call a dealer and ask if the rear bumpers are different part numbers w/without tow hitch. In fact, just call the dealer and ask for the rear bumper part number for your year/model. If he asks if yours has a hitch you have your answer, if not, you don't.
