Out Of Control!!
Are you using a dealer to service?
Have you found a GOOD independent shop?
Transmission service is a once every 40 to 80K mile thing. If you can't afforest $140 (which is a good price) you did not budget for a MB (or anything European).
Same with $80 oil change for a diesel. ($80 once a year instead of $35 2 times for most cars.)

The car has cost you less than $400 per year on maintenance outside of tires for the past two years and you are complaining? This is no different than a land cruiser would cost and you are getting almost double the fuel mileage. How is this junk?

maintenance is a given, its the repairs for emissions that aggravate me

ok so code is 146100 control deviation is too large
star tool says check injector overflow something something (need special tool)
run o2 sensor test with tool (i did and its ok)
physically check turbo boost tubes for leaks (i ruled this out because of skipping at startup on occasion and surging while not in boost conditions)
light went out on its own and rough running seems to have lessened to rarely
I'm thinking bad fuel so I'm going to finish whats left in the tank 3/8 and fill with fresh fuel and some fuel clean and boost by hot shot secret
i will post results as they develop so someone else with similar symptoms can compare
thanks...Steve
