Subwoofer install
Hello
I have a GL450 2007 without harman Kardon System.
I´ll like to know where is located the Factory Harman Kardon logic 7 Subwoofer.
I want to buy a used Harman subwoofer to install in my truck with aftermarket amplifier, but I don´t know where is the right place, I´ll apreciate if someone can post some pictures of their trucks.

The sub is located behind the access panel in the back of the of the truck. Just inside the liftgate, on the passenger side, is a panel that you can open. That is where it goes, from the factory anyways. But of course, you can do anything you want and maybe find an even better spot.

In my 09 GL we decided to install a slightly bigger sub than was stock with the Harmon Kardon system, but we decided to put it in the access panel on the driver side (where the first aid kit is). Had a custom fiber glass box built to fit into that area, and have the amp just below it. Only and 8 inch fits, so not much more bass, but it definitely hits harder than the stock.
