2011 gl350 Bluetec
Bluetooth audio streaming
I have a 2011 GL350 and cannot fond a way to stream music via Bluetooth.

Is there a software upgrade that can make this work?

No, there is no software upgrade.

Do you GL have the MMI connector in the glove box? it's something like this:

Mine only has an MP3/Aux input in the glovebox. But I just use one of those cheap, little bluetooth dongles.

Get a Visseo Tune2Air device WMA3000 and it will let you stream your phone.. Tho I find that I get issue with having that and my phone connected to radio.. I disconnect it when I want to use my phone and not stream music.

For what it's worth, I have zero issues with streaming music vs using the phone (whether incoming or outgoing phone calls). It seems that switching between music and phone calls is a function of the phone, not the car hardware. Phone calls are handled through the car's equipment and music is handled through the dongle thingy. Seems to work seamlessly. But I can only comment on the use of this through the aux input, obviously.

The 2011 GL 350 dose not have Audio Bluetooth Streaming. It only has Bluetooth streaming for phone calls. Buy this product from Amazon only $30 it works like a charmand and it does not interfere with the phone Bluetooth connection. Once you plug it into your MMI go to your audio settings and go to AUX and you're done
