GL450 stuck in Diagnostic/rig test mode
So I'd plugged in one of the CarSoft MB readers to try and diagnose which parktronic sensor was not working.
After unplugging I get a message on the middle screen saying ABS/ESP unavailable Brake in diagnostic/rig test mode.
Any ideas how to clear it? I've seen some steps for other models of cars which didn't work.

Guys, still have this issue. The warnings on the MFD are somewhat annoying, although you can click through them to another screen after start.
Here is what I have done.
1. Cleared codes. No effect.
2. Disconnected both batteries for 30 minutes. No effect.
3. Driven the "pattern" that is supposed to recalibrate this and clear the diagnostic mode.
I've done two different variations consisting of.
1.- Stop car with front wheels in straight position and geared at P. ABS light is ON and ESP light is OFF. Parking brake released.
2.- Actuate the service brake and shift to N. Release service brake and push the ESP button. The ESP triangular light flashed and then lit steadily. Immediately, shift to D. Move straight and turned 1/4 of a circle (left or right) with the steering wheel turned >90°.
3.- Stop by using the service brake while straightening the front wheels. The ESP light flashed and ABS light was still ON. Shift to N, and release the service break. The ABS and ESP lights went off. The "EBV, ABS and ESP unavailable Diagnostics/rig test" message disappeared.
There is a second version of this I had found, and tried that also didn't work. Basically same as above but with an extra 180 deg turn.
I'm trying really hard not to go to the shop as money is tight after some massive medical issues. As I mentioned I think I stumbled into this issue playing with my CarSoft MB.
thanks
