N.A. Comand NTG2.5 need to convert to Euro maps
Hello All,
I am looking at shipping our vehicle to Europe which is equipped with the Comand APS NTG2.5 with North-American maps. Does anyone know if it can be converted, at an affordable price, to European maps? If it's too expensive to do, I will just get a map update for a Garmin that is sitting in my drawer.

So not sure if OP resolved this, but I've done similar (moved from NA to Europe) and in the process of messing with some other things have found the answer to this. I figured I would post for the sake of posterity.
The answer is yes, this is possible but requires a special tool similar to what Mercedes dealership techs use in the workshop. I have an Autel Maxisys with programming capabilities, and you can switch the system to Europe from North America. The caveat is that you can only switch it 5 times after which it locks. I doubt anybody will move a vehicle back and forth that many times, but it is a limitation. Then, of course, you'll need the proper DVD maps which I think were roughly USD $250 the last time I bought them.
