Anyone been using Blackstone for Oil testing on GL350?

Anyone been using Blackstone for Oil testing on GL350?
I am going to start changing my own oil (usually its not worth it for the mess and parts and my local MB did it for $99 I couldn't even buy the oil and filter for that price .. they went to 129 recently) and been considering switching from Mobile 1 0-30W ESP to Liqui Moly 5-30W and wanted to see anyone else has been using Liqui Moly or any other oil with the truck? I been doing 10K oil changes but I may start doing 10+10+5k to help with any build up.
I am interest if as the truck ages if the oil intervals needs to be updated. I will get a sample for my own use but I was interested if anyone else was already doing it.

I haven't done it yet but thinking about starting. I've got Mobil 1 5W 30 in there now and I'm switching to Pentosin, so it would be interesting to have a comparison. Additionally, I've been considering lowering my change interval from the MB 10k miles to what I do on the BMWs which is 7,500 miles. I think part of the issues with this engine is related to the extended drain intervals, but don't have any proof of that until I do the analysis.

Haven't done it with this vehicle, but I've been using Blackstone for probably close to a decade. They're a good company - small, but good. I like that they always give a personal response. A local CAT dealer can do it for you, too.
If the Liqui Moly has the proper MB approval number for your engine, then go for it. People can sometimes get very opinionated when it comes to what oil is "best" - but in reality, if it's got the approval number it's good to go. Sometimes asking people what is the best oil is like asking what is the best color.
I do like the idea of using oil analysis to compare one oil to another, but it may take at least 2 or 3 samples to get a realistic comparison.

Oh, wanted to add... if the reason for doing oil analysis includes monitoring your oil so you get a "real" feel as to how long of an oil change interval you can do, then you would want to do an analysis in the middle of your intended interval.
