New Member Help!

Hello I would like to introduce myself. I will skipped long of my stories to save some space but I did post in different Benz forum http://www.benzworld.org/forums/x164...ber-story.html.
Please help me with problem that I currently have.
2 weeks ago my arimatic malfunction appeared both my rear bag has no air while driving on highway suddenly. Rear bag is new with Arnott. Exit from highway and check all the fuse was OK. I am not sure why only the rear went down. Unplug the relay put back and remove the fuse put back. The compressor kick in and rise the rear bag. I tried to drive to home and on the way same happen again and only rear bag went down then it rise again. Arrived at home went under the car spray with water and found no leak. Left the car over night and nothing went down. Drove the car for 2 weeks nothing happen the bag hold the air never went down and no leak. 2 days ago the Airmatic malfunction indicator on but the car still at the same height until today. I drove the car and it still at the same height.
Here is the nightmare and because of my stupidly i really want to knock my head to wood. Yesterday I was poking around front of fuse box and try to figure out this malfunction and check all the electrical and all seems good. I SHOULD HAVE STOPPED but i was thinking it could be the relay. so unplug the relay and I found other relay and put this other relay. It is a relay with same connector. So I plug that relay and it make spark. I unplug it right away. I said F**** me so stupid all the swearing came out and try to look at my relay and the original relay and all looks the same with all the output. So put my nose to fuse box and I smell burn like burning plastic smell. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the swearing came out and really want to knock my head. So I put the original relay back and started the car and the car started like nothing happen. check all instrument and all light all on. Went back to fuse box and put my nose and the old burning smell still there. I tried to see if there is smoke coming out but nothing. I removed the airmatic relay and tried to start the car and nothing happened. The car didn't crank but all the light on. Put the relay back and the car crank. I did that few times and yes it didn't crank when the airmatic relay is pull out. Question does airmatic relay somehow connecting to any computer to start the car?
So I concluded that the air compressor died. At night family went out for dinner with the car and nothing happen but malfunction still there. After dinner, start the car and the car died right away. I tried to start again it run for few second and die again. I tried few times and still same thing. Open the hood removed the airmatic relay and put back the relay and the car started. I drove home. Today I called Benz asked for fuse box and it cost me 500 + OH no and plus I ordered new compressor from Arnott. My question does the front fuse box need to reprogram if I get new or use? Do I need to replace this fuse box? I am trying to find used part in Vancouver Canada. Does anyone has this in junk yard? Does anyone has a picture of this circuit board or anyone ever replace this front fuse box? Should I open this fuse and check the circuit board? I don't like the burning smell and I worry the car will die while my wife driving the car. Do I need to disconnect my battery if I replace this front fuse box? Please help.
I read this https://mbworld.org/forums/gl-class-...-stalling.html but this is different or similar.

Sorry for the grammar need to calm down I guess!

Update

I will give an update what happen after in case someone need to know. Few days car sitting no bag leaking and the car sit at level.
I decided to pick up used front fuse box. The used part full of water since it was sitting outside for unknown days, months, or years. my new pumped arrived last Friday. Opened used Fuse box and started cleaning each connection after I went to my car and replaced my pump. When the time to replace my fuse box, I tried to disconnect the battery and look it broke when I tried to wiggle it .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...................
Oh when I removed my pump, i didn't put jack in 4 corner of the car and the car still sit at level.

Removed my fuse box, open my fuse box and found the burned. Anyway I matched everything with the used part and put everything back and fixed that battery head the broke. Connect everything back and start the car. All good and car back on the road. I am paling to fix this fuse box when I have time in case this thing happen again.

I still don't understand why the fuse box for airmatic relay burned when I put other relay. The other generic relay has the same connection and out put. Also I don't know why if you remove the airmatic relay, the car would not crank. All light will turn on but can't crank.

In my case or for those that has same problem or has problem with the car doesn't want to crank or start.
1. car crank, start and die few second after, open fuse box and check the airmatic relay. smell the airmatic relay and see if it is burn or not.
2. The car doesn't crank at all, but all light on, still I would check the airmatic relay. Remove the relay and plug back and see if the car crank and start
