i have a 2010 gl 350 with factory HIDS with one headlight out so will replace them both. What bulb does it require? What’s best place to purchase?

You'll want a set of D1S HID bulbs. We have top end Morimoto D1S HID bulbs if interested.

Go with a name brand D1S. There is often a big difference in longevity.

PM Sent. Morimoto is a well known aftermarket bulb. Retail price is $90 (http://www.morimotohid.com/hid-bulbs...1s-xb-hid.html), our price for forum members is $75.Quality and engineering just as good as OEM without the ridiculous markup

However, if you want big box branded bulbs, we carry upgraded:
Osram Xenarc CBI $160
Osram Xenarc CBB $250
Osram Xenarc CBH $225
Philips Xtreme Vision $170
Philips 85415 WHV2 $170

Go Osram or Philips. You get what you pay for with HID bulbs (and if you find them for significantly less than reputable vendors sell them for, you're getting counterfeit bulbs). D1S is the correct type. I'd go with Philips White Visions if you want a whiter light or Osram CBBs if you want a bluer light.

How do you replace the bulbs? I've found videos for other models, but not for the GL. I don't have any clips holding the hid bulb in place and I don't want to twist it to far if that's not how you remove it.
