GL VS ML Tow Hitch
I have a 2007 ML350 and need a tow hitch. I found one locally off of a 2008 GL450. The part numbers are different, but they look identical. Can anyone help me out with info on this. I called the dealer and they couldn't tell me anything besides the kit part numbers were different.

I'm really not sure, but it could definitely be the same.
I know the Toyota Highlander and Lexus RX have identical hitches, just different logos on the hitch cap and a higher price on the Lexus.
One thing you can do is go on etrailer.com and put in both vehicles to find the hitch part numbers. Compare the part numbers and other specs and see if they are identical or not. If the aftermarket hitches are different, then **MAYBE** the OEM ones are also.
