Does anyone have this type of rear entertainment setup? I just bought one and installed it on my 2016 e350, but it only stays on for about 3 minutes and then both monitors shut off. I'm also surprised the sound doesn't go through the speakers and only through headphones. The dealer doesn't know anything about this DVD setup even though it's a Mercedes product. I thought they'd have to set something up through the COMAND unit but they insist they don't have an option to turn it on. Any thoughts? Thanks!

how did you install it? I’m certain this requires the prewiring for rear seat entertainment option to make this system work correctly.
Are you sure you have that and it is installed correctly?
It it will have to be done through star, but I would recommended a more experienced service advisor or a different dealership to help you.
This particular setup doesn't require the prewiring. There's a YouTube video by Mercedes showing installation. I think I will need a different dealer even though the one I'm going to is the largest in the area.
