Suggestions for lower Control arm bushings

I had my mechanic put my car on lift to see what the suspension bushings looked like. The control arm front bushings were broken and other bushings looked week in sway bar and steering rack.

I am sourcing parts so I am curious if anyone has changed their control arm bushings. I am looking for reputable parts to replace bushings rather then replace the whole control arm.

i mostly can’t find a good replacement for the front bushing with the bracket. The other two seem readily available by Mercedes or lemforder. Plus less desirable ones.

Have you checked rockauto.com? I get most of my parts from there. May be less hassle to just purchase the entire components than just the bushings.

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Second that...Just trying to replace the lower rears is a massive PITA.
Time wise it may be more economical to have your indy swap in two new lower control arms, he can do it in 30 minutes a side.

Thank you

yes I decided to just go with the oe arms. I can get them for $510 a piece. There are cheaper ones. But I don’t think I want to chance Chinese parts.

These are heavy vehicles that can wear through some bushings every few years. If you plan on keeping this thing longterm. You might look at FCPEuro because they have lifetime replacement on everything they sell, which includes oil. Every oil change I just send my used oil and filter back o them, and they refund me the cost of the last oil and filter I purchase, have only ever paid for the liqu moly oil and Filter one time. plus return shipping of course.Once I year I also order new MB Wiperblades and return the old ones for a refund as well. They can be slightly more expensive than RockAuto or some others, but if you keep the vehicle long term, it will pay off in the end.
