So already had a known issue with the front left level sensor that deflated my strut intermittently when parking. Well I put the car on a lift for other reasons (strut was deflated at the time) and this happened causing hydro to **** everywhere. How tf? Is there some precaution that could have prevented this or was my strut just toast to begin with and this was the straw that broke the camels back?

Bump. So would lifting the car with the strut deflated do this or was my strut toast already and this just broke the camels back and caused the tear to happen?
