I have one installed with no visible wires whatsoever.
It is a roav c1 pro from anker. Great company great camera. 2k quality and gps and great app.
Parking monitor and loop recording.
I would recommend their new s1 camera.
It's connected to the 12v power plug in the passenger footwell and rooted through the trim, up the a pillar and along the windshield frame to behind the rear view mirror.
I cannot see the camera whilst driving and often forget that it is there.

it's available for $72 with the following code RV4KINJA
The s1 rivals and outperforms the Blackvue 650s/750s which are considered for many to be the standard.
I just installed the s1 in our families audi and the video quality at 60fps is better than the c1 pro. That being said the c1 pro is still phenomenal in the gl. It's a great camera.
The only camera that outperforms the s1 I think is the Blackvue 950s....but then again you are paying a substantial premium.

I couldn't find anyway to program passenger outlet to shut off.
Following was my thread earlier last year.

yes, it is 2007. so that maybe the reason. My solution is to route the wire to central console outlet.

Inm sure a lot of people must have inadvertently left things plugged in.

4 Route the cable under the protective stripping along the door frame.
1 Start from the where you plan on putting the camera. That way you have no excess cable dangling. Route it into the rear view mirrow plastic cover and then direct it to the upper windshield.
2 Then route it under the upper part of the wi dshield.
3 Route it to and Make the corner to the seam. You an pull this a pillar part off. You only need to pull a little as you don't have to take it off entirely. Just route the cable under the seam.
5 route all the way down. Open the side access panel with the plastic pry tool. Route the cable into the side opening through the globe box towards the bottom of the globe box. Hope the makes sense
Completed picture
Route the cable under the globe box assembly outer cover. That way it is tucked in under the panel.
Power outlet
Where you start routing it jnto the glove box side opening
