Aftermarket remote starter
Hey folks
today at Canadian tire i found a 2 way remote starter system for cad 99 and was about to buy it and then I asked them whether they do the install or not.
They gave me a business card of an installer and he said “forget about what they sell, its cad 1000 for your mercedes and if you don’t go for my solution, forget about it altogether or you may harm your car”
didn’t like the attitude and hung up.
long story short, did any of you have and aftermarket remote starter installed and how hard is the process?
I understand that an additional item is also required (something like a brain to disable the immobilizer) and it may be even more costly if you have keyless go like myself.
