2008 gl450 no turn signal but hazards work,wipers not working,DSR SRS tele aide inoperative,radiator fan running loud, there was water under driver seat bay, replaced central gateway module with same used one but no luck, please someone help

By the gateway module do you mean the front Sam unit ?

No not the front sam but the central gateway module the module is under driver seat its what controls front and rear sam

When this module goes bad it doesnt let you comunicate with front or rear sam and other modules as well, i took it apart and found some corrosion in side of it, so i bought a used one on ebay but i think it needs to be programmed in order to work on a different vehicle, thats what im trying to find out does it need to be programmed in order for the car to recognize it?

So this would explain why it did nothing because it needs to be programmed?

At first i thought it was the battery so i went and replaced the batteries both big and small since the car was a little slow when starting because of the extreme cold we’ve had and plus i dont drive it much, anyway that didnt make a difference then i did some research and found water under driver seat bay and came to find out that the gateway module has a short in it i took it apart and found corrosion and a little burnt spot, bought a used gateway module with exact same numbers on it plugged it in and it made no difference to the symptoms the car has, I tried to scan reprogram it with my scanner but no luck, I was told that dealer needs to do it but i found a shop online that can clone it with the damaged one so thats my route for now, we’ll see if this fixes my problem
