Considering 125000miles GL350 -- Any 300000 miles experiences?

Dear MB Forum colleagues, we're looking into purchasing a 125,000 miles first owner GL350. I normally go for naturally aspirated big v8 MB's, but this particular vehicle looks like a good deal. Any one of you has driven a GL350 well over 200000 miles on the clock? What is there to expect with a high mileage bluetec?
Your input is much appreciated. Thanks
Dutch

Not sure what year you are looking at but you can expect some emission parts changing coming up if it has not already happened. The 125k mile mark means it has either had most of its large mid life repairs done or it is about to need it, does this vehicle have any maintenance records? This would be the determining factor for me if i was looking. Many 2011-2012s had timing chains that needed replacing anywhere from 35k miles to 90k miles. Air Suspension is a 100k mile to 7 year lifespan before leaks show up but this is not a big deal to replace.

You can scan the forums and find everthing under the sun regarding pros and cons on the diesels. I have had three of them and happen to enjoy the torque and mileage. There is a couple of guys on here that have 300k miles and if you look around you will find even higher mileage examples around.

I see from your posts that you say you are from the Canadian Rockies.

So im not sure if the emissions program varied from the us to Canada. If it did great! You should be set. If it didn’t. Well sol.

So avoid the us diesels and if it’s different in emissions go for the 🇨🇦 version. Otherwise check out the gas models you can import from the us.
