new to me 2012 GL450 rear shocks?
It seems that it might be worn out rear shocks that allow my car to jump around when I go over bumps. I don't remember my 2007 doing this. How can one check for worn out rear shocks prior to moving to replacing the shocks?

Look for oil all over them.
my first/left shock leaked so badly it put a puddle on garage floor. Right shock was just dirt/oil covered. In the 70k mile/10 year timeframe for me.
know that oe shocks are Bilstein, and identical shocks are significantly less expensive Bilstein labeled as opposed to Mercedes labeled.
