Just curious how these labor prices add from different areas from the U.S.

I'm located in St Louis and this estimate is from Plaza Motors.

A and B are in line with what I paid at the mb dealership. But I would try diy a youtself. There's enough space and it doesn't require anything special really. It will save you the 600$.

Can't really comment on C or D. I've never had them done

Kombifan- Thanks for your reply. I did see the write on the DIY but those plugs look scary to me Haha. I have worked on cars all my life though.

Alx- thanks for the feedback. I like to shop around. But I feel as though if the dealer does it, they're responsible for it. Plus they give a free 2019 GLS for a rental while they work on my SUV.

i know. I had that same feeling too, hence I got it done at the mb dealership for the gl.

When I thought about doing it for my w163 I thought why not try myself and was dumbfounded by how easily accessible and how easy it was. Felt slightly burned spending the money for the gl afterwards.

Lucky...I've never had a loaner bigger than a gle/e.....dealership doesn't offer anything bigger.
