New HID headlight assembly
Suddenly I needed a new headlight assembly. And I have those stupid, stupid HID lights. Something the other side of $1400 per light at the dealer.
After a great deal of searching here and there I found a supplier on Ebay with Hella brand lights for the car. Less than half the price of MB prices. Since 300,000 miles plus had really fogged up the lens covers I bit the bullet and bought the pair. They came (in enormous boxes) with all the bulbs, but no ballast for the HID. Other than that, they are perfect. I assume that Hella must be the OEM supplier. Highly recommended.

The hid came with curve illumination.

I would have been glad to get halogens, but the wiring is different.
