2010 gl450
another airmatic issue
Hi, new to the site; i have a 2010 gl450. i replaced both rear air shocks, the driver side would not inflate. the passenger side along with the front all inflated. eventually the 'new' passenger side blew out. any ideas? really frustrated.........thanks

Check the driver's side for proper installation of the air hose. Be sure the line is fully inserted into the shock, and that it engages (gets caught) when you pull back on it with slight force. Check and/or listen for leaks when you start the car.
Alternatively, (and this may seem obvious) try swapping the driver's side 'new' strut to the passenger side to see if it inflates. If it does, then you may have a leak/loose line on the driver's side. If not, then you likely have a bad strut.

What brand? Check fittings and all connections. Lower car slowly instead of letting it drop.
