Rear liftgate latch replacement & part number
Hello Everyone,
My 2007 GL450 liftgate will not close/lock fully. The door will go up and down with the remote and the buttons, but will not "click" into place.
I took it into the MB dealer today for the diagnosis fee, and they said it was the rear latch that needed replacing, and quoted ~$700+ to replace.
I would greatly appreciate the help.
1. What part number would I exactly need? I searched on FCP Euro but nothing came up when I searched for "latch".
2. Are there DIY instructions on how to replace this? Any programming needed afterwards?
