No Start/Intermittent Start Problem

Looks like a good fix - can you explain in a bit more detail exactly what you did?
I am having the same issue with intermittent starting. Sometimes it will start right away other times there is nothing that will happen when I try to start. Sometimes if I hold the key fob to full start it will start like normal too. It’s a frustrating issue.

EIS replacement.
You can also check the campaign bulletin at startek.com for more information. If no dealership isn't trying to jonor the EIS recall, then go to the NHTSA and submit a formal complaint in case they are treating this as a silent recall. If you own any of the above listed vehicles, check into the airbag and brake recall. Those are open and your nearest Mercedes benz dealer will tow your vehicle free into yheir shop and inspect and or repair it. Hope this is informative. Surprising solution in my case
Ive been dealing with the occasional failure to crank the engine and start and suddenly it became semi-permanent costing me a lot of hassle.
I spent a day checking fuses, relays and everything I could imagine. Im a software engineer and used to weird logic.
I knew the basics hadn't suddenly broken.
Eventually O started looking at routine settings and notice that it was in sport mode. In mine you can choose mode.
It should not cause this issue, but never let that fool you when it comes to software.
I switched to normal mode and binge.
Ill leave it a while before I worry about why and whets wrong with sports mode./
If Id called a garage, Id be 7 or 800 out of pocket by now.
