That's a shame - it looks like it's in nice shape. I take it'll just cost too much to fix/replace the engine to make it worthwhile?

Possibly interested in the chrome window frame covers (all six) - the lower part at the base of the window, where the window meets the door metal. Also the running boards. I'm in Allentown, PA.

Didn't want to assume the interior color (sometimes hard to tell via pictures/different computer screens), but it looks like a light grey? So the steering wheel has that tone/hue, as well? I have a tan interior and the wheel is looking a bit tired - especially the buttons (which are a different style that yours).

I have a single window button (in the driver's control cluster... It's one of the second row buttons... gotta double check which one) that no longer "stays put". But I assume you'd want to sell the entire cluster? I'm also assuming it would fit, given both of our vehicles are X164's?

Hi Dennis, You hit the nail on the head. The cost to repair/replace the engine is too high compared to their current cost in the market and beyond that, the reliability is just not there. This is a vehicle that was maintained at dealer rarely missing a service and it still pooped out at 86K miles. Getting another used engine to put in there would just be another time bomb.

I added a pic from the VIN decoder with the VIN number and the color codes/description so you can have a clear idea on the colors. I would call it light gray and yes, the steering wheel has the same color as well. Im not certain about the fitment of the window buttons module on the driver door, but I can send you some pics and you can compare to yours.

I will check the condition and the removal process for the chrome strips and get back to you on the process for all parts.

Thank you.

Thanks! Those chrome strips just slide up and off. They're only held on by friction. It's funny, I've been going back and forth for a couple years on whether to get them - along with those other items. It just always seems that "something else comes up"!

What a shame. Finding good engines for these is difficult and expensive. Probably because most of them crap out early. Noticed the issues a long time ago and was flamed for pointing out the trends of a bad engine design/maintenance schedule. I'm sad that it happened to you an others with the diesel engine and in such a short amount of time.

How much complete? I’m in south Florida. Looks like airbags are bad also.

Wonder how hard to convert to a gasser? Would think engine wiring harness, ECU, and TCU tune would do it.

I don't really have a price for the complete truck. you can make me an offer and we can go from there. I have not sold one part yet, so its all there still. I believe some of the lines to the pump were disconnected at one point bu the mechanic to make space for something else he was doing. The truck has not been started in 2 years or so, but I do recall the air suspension being fine while the truck was running.

How much for the stainless piece that goes across the back above the exhaust? Someone hit my wife in the parking lot and has a slight dent.

How much for the reflector on the driver rear lower bumper? Someone hit my wife in the parking lot and shattered it.

Are the running boards in good shape? Any damage or "nubs" falling off?

FYI, my 2012 Bluetec had the engine crap out as well at just over 70k miles. It's currently at the dealership awaiting a new engine.
