2011 GL550
2011 GL550 sporadically won't Accelerate
We have 2011 MB GL550, bought it used at an auction. Noticed that sporadically, flat ground and often on inclines and hills. The engine will not accelerate. Almost like it is being regulated or governed. Freeway traffic is scary when passing etc. All the sudden no passing power/acceleration.

Sounds like an intermittent limp mode. Is the check engine light on? What codes did you get when you had it scanned? Scanning at Autozone might help - but their code readers don't see everything.

2011 GL550
No Codes
No codes or check engine lights on. Autozone, had nothing for me. Guessing it could be MAS failiing, or possible fuel filter clogging
