U0002 - Limp mode

I've done a search but cannot find anything conclusive... I id fine some ML threads but no one posted the solution...

2012 GL350

Voltage is good (replaced battery). Limp mode, U0002 code. Won't shift into gear, random wipers, it will start...

Thanks!

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Do you have water or wetness in the battery compartment or under the spare tire?

In typical MB fashion... rear blind spot monitoring, went bad from crap connectors, moisture inside connectors, shorted, in turn locking everything down...

You're being very cryptic, but it sounds like you have a moisture in electricals type problem. Search the forum on how to dry your car out, and hope the corrosion isn't terminal.

Was not my intention to be cryptic... was just on my phone. There is zero moisture inside the car. The problem is in connectors that are exposed to the elements. I am picking it up today and will be able to see the the connectors etc...

Yes Moisture in an external connector that should be weather proof.

Moisture combined with road salt likely caused some corrosion and some type of short that resulted in 2 bad sensors in the and the control module going bad (blind side monitoring). That in turn created the CAN bus error that would not allow it to move. Couple of thousand to repair / re programme / replace failed components.
