Bad air shock w ADS

I have this 2009 GL550 for 4 yrs now enjoy every minute of driving it and didn’t have a lot of troubles until this year. The front passenger side air shock broke down. Is that something that would be just a replacement? Or does it need a computer resetting when the shock is replaced? Thanks for any feedback!

Good to understand that your entire suspension system is a periodic replacement design. This is not failure, it's simply end of designed life. Expect the air spring on the other side to leak soon, also the rear air springs and shocks.

For the year of my GL was made, I expected that to really happen. I’m planning to replace both sides. Thanks for your feed back.
