Any plug and play android heat-unit for X164 available? I saw some threads here but they all involved some concerns about complicated installation procedure. Is there any recommendation for a unit that comes with harnesses that are easy to connect with original car harness?

Any head unit Android or not is going to require a interface unit to use the factory amp/speakers to convert the analog signal from the head unit to the digital signal required by the amp. They're mostly plug and play and aren't that difficult to install. The most difficult part is switching the optical cable from the factory harness to the harness that comes with the interface, and it isn't a big deal. You also have to make the normal electrical connections from the interface harness to the head unit for ground, +12V, turn-on, dimmer etc. that you do with any head unit install. I have a interface unit that retains the steering wheel controls, and that was a little more involved because it has to be programmed to the brand of vehicle it is being installed in, but even that was pretty easy.

If you've ever done any kind of stereo installation/electronic work, it is well within reach to do yourself.

Yeah actually there is an Android Unit, for your vehicle...just go to Aliexpress.com...search your model for android unit...

As stated above, several units avail and interfaces available also. You’ll lose factory satellite radio with an android unit.
