Suggestions for repurposing the SOS button

The SOS button for my GL350 is pretty worthless right now. Even if I wanted to activate service I don't think I can anymore.

Any suggestions on repurposing the button to do something useful? (I mean, I need not only suggestions but also instructions on how to make the change)

Thanks

I dunno. I think it's kinda cool to have a "HELP!" button that does nothing. It teaches you something about the modern world.

I like the passenger ejector seat idea--or even just a button that says ejector seat. But I need hints on how to build it.

Label the button SELF DESTRUCT; put a red light behind it, or better yet, also a chirping, that beeps, speeding up over, say, five seconds.

Simple: you get a spare 'steering wheel airbag' (or two) and secure it under the seat. Then wire the whole thing into the comfort seat controls. Ta-da!

Pushing the SOS button should:
  1. trigger the seat to self adjust -- pointing toward the sunroof (you don't want anyone to hit their heads on the way out, you know? Or even worse, damage/stain your interior!)...
  2. ...followed by a short delay (you want to see the look in their eyes as they wonder what is happening..)
  3. ...then POOF! Off they go!

Not bad, not bad at all. Have to insert a seat belt disconnect, though, or you'll have a heck of a mess to clean up.
