Oil filter housing and oil cooler torque specs

2007 Gl450

Oil filter housing and oil cooler torque specs

Good evening,

i have a 2007 GL450 and I’m replacing the oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket.

i was searching the web for torque specs. There’s different torque specs on different videos.

do you guys know the proper torque specs for this bolts? And also is there a torque specs for the thermostat and tensior pulley as well?

Hi, here is some info that might help with the picture...

Thermostat 25Nm
Oil Filter Housing - 20Nm
Oil Cooler 12Nm

35Nm = 25 ft-lbs
30Nm = 22 ft-lbs
25NM = 18.4 ft-lbs
20Nm = 14.75 ft-lbs
12Nm = 8.9 ft-lbs

Sorry - in the absence of actual Nm values my input would have been somewhere between "just right" and "pull whatcha got", but glad you got what you needed.
