2010 GL450 no start (battery, alt, starter all good)
NOW, when this no start cold happens I disconnect battery, wait 30 seconds, reconnect battery and car starts 100% of the time.
What is the issue? The battery is one year old, I replaced the little battery also (next to it under the seat).
I was thinking a) computer issues b)some computer module freezes or shorts out and I need to reestablish electrical connection c) eis (but disconnecting and connecting battery using does not fix eis problems.
What are your thoughts.
passenger seat cavity where battery sits looks dry, I never checked under drivers seat cavity.

@EmilyMB Look in the rear of the vehicle at the taillamps, and see if there are signs of water leaking. Check the spare tire area for signs of water entry. The X164 GL can experience this over time.

It is possible that disconnecting the battery allows it a bit of time to self-recharge. The standby drain is sagging the battery. Just because the battery is good does not mean that it is undercharged.
One needs to look at the system holistically, as the box for my Bosch alternator screamed at me (I guess they are tired of spurious returns): A bad battery will drag the alternator (and voltage regulator!); a bad alternator will destroy a battery; and a bad starter will hurt the battery which will exact its revenge on the alternator.
You can get digital battery testers, and multimeters, for cheap now. Confirm that the battery and alternator are good before proceeding to switches.
For what it's worth, as I do not drive regularly, I took to leaving a battery maintainer on whenever I leave the Biest garaged. That standby drain can be a bear.
