Code P0299, Wire cut on plug on top of oil pan - what is it?

Looking for help to determine what the wires and plug are pictured below. My serpentine shredded last night, knocked out my turbo and gave me a P0299 Turbo/Super Charger underboost. The plug pictured has one cut wire, wondering if that's the culprit or if I need to keep looking

Check intercooler hoses, you might have a leak.

Is that an oil level sensor?

I learned today that it's the oil temperature sensor and part of the main wiring harness for the engine. Don't break this one! $800 for the harness and who knows the cost for removal and install! I'm getting the plug repaired.

Regarding the turbo/supercharger underboost, it's not related. If it wasn't broken by the shredding serpentine, it broke when i was cleaning all the stringy remnants.

I'm still struggling to understand how a shredded belt can affect the turbo. The turbo is all the way at the back of the engine and there's no way, even if a piece of belt flew to the back, that it would harm the turbo. There's also no way that you broke the turbo by cleaning things.

I'm convinced the shredded, spinning remnants of the serpentine cracked or loosened one of the intercooler hoses, so I'm taking it to a diesel specialist tomorrow. The plug and wires in the picture aren't related to the turbo ... just unlucky.

OK, yes, the hoses I could see. You had mentioned the turbo, specifically - that was what I was getting hung up on trying to correlate. The hoes (pipes) aren't all that hard to figure out if you wanted to give it a shot yourself.
