Thanks Eric. I am working on another write up to address the presafe issue I'm having thanks to the previous owner doing some 50 Shades of Gray s**t in the driver seat with the belt.

2010 GL450
This is exactly how I replaced mine. Screw taking the panels off. I was able to lift up (break tabs) on the armrests by just pulling up on the arm rests hard. Didn’t use a screw driver.
