Rear struts out of alignment!
I’ve had various issues with my AIRmatic suspension which I’ve FINALLY gotten fixed by changing the compressor AND valve block!
Everything seems to work now but the rear drivers side strut is not aligned flush.
is this a problem?
sometimes it fixes itself with a loud *SPROING* or other onomatopoeia
Or you can help it by jacking that wheel up, deflating that bag enough to rotate the slots to line up.

so close but yet so far
i measured it from last night at 1 am to this morning at 8am
I had Midas spray it down with soapy water and they said they didn’t see anything but I’m guessing it could be a slow leak or even be at the top. I’m going to change it today and pray it’s not the hose

This is what your GL has in front.
in rear, your GL has separate springs and shock absorbers. Your problem was with the spring … which in the case of Mercedes Airmatic is a rubber air bag.
