Will these 18 inch wheels fit GL550

I'm nearing the time to buy new tires and I'm debating on getting 18 inch wheels and tires. For the same price of a new 21inch tire set, I can get a complete wheel and tire set. The 21's are terrible for tire options, they're expensive and don't last very long in my experience. So I'm looking for more threadlike and bigger sidewall. I found these

They have a close offset to the AMG's ET37 stock vs 18's ET35. So will they fit?

Probably not as they are for the car platforms and not designed to carry GL weight.

these 18s will fit:

if you want to go big these 19s will also fit.

If you can find MB wheels part number 1664012202, 20 inch ET +41, your choice of tires will be better. I find that tire choices in the 19 inch category are not as plentiful as 18 or 20. As you said, choices in 21" are limited.

Thanks for the link, I ended up finding these replacement tires https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...cleSearch=true 285/45/21 tire which will give me a bit more side wall and 50k warranty. Couldn't wait to find wheels, my tires needed change and I do like the 21inch AMG wheels, just not the lack of tire sizes.

Those tires were on my list when I was searching for a replacement set. Good choice. You probably know already, but I'll say it anyway. Your speedometer will display your speed slightly higher than your actual speed.

Yeah I hope to get the technician to fix it for me when I bring it for service.
